SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Provide operational leadership for supply chain operations across the East Market. This role will lead the Supply Chain workforce to ensure the execution of daily tasks and activities including shipping, receiving, distribution, inventory management, transportation, warehousing, demand planning, emergency and disaster supplies are delivered throughout each hospital in the market. This individual will help to drive key critical performance metrics and on-time delivery, schedule attainment and financial metrics such as inventory turns, standard cost variances, absorption and budget, and develop and retain responsive and dependable supplier relationships. This individual will work closely with our Third Party Logistics Providers (3PL), corporate finance, information technology (IT) and procurement to drive overall supply chain excellence through the delivery process. This role will oversee both med surg and OR/Procedural area supplies.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):

  • Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience - four (4) years in business, healthcare administration, supply chain.
  • Seven (7) years experience in acute care hospital or acceptable healthcare industry logistics and inventory management involving highly-complex analysis and project management.
  • Five (5) years' leadership experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):

  • Previous experience in healthcare contracting/purchasing preferred
  • Lean and Six Sigma certification preferred
  • APICS and/or CPSM certifications preferred
  • AHRMM certification preferred (CRMP)
  • Master's Degree in business or supply chain management preferred
