Regional Director of Operations (RDO) - LNHA

Central North Carolina | Full Time

A skilled nursing and long-term care organization is seeking an experienced Regional Director of Operations (RDO) with a strong background in skilled nursing leadership to oversee operations across multiple facilities in Central North Carolina.

The ideal candidate is a licensed Nursing Home Administrator who has demonstrated success leading facility teams, improving operational performance, and maintaining high standards of resident care.
Responsibilities
  • Provide operational leadership and support to multiple skilled nursing facilities.
  • Partner with facility Administrators to achieve clinical, operational, financial, and census goals.
  • Mentor and develop facility Administrators and leadership teams.
  • Monitor key performance indicators, budgets, staffing, quality measures, and survey results.
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, resident satisfaction, and overall facility performance.
  • Support recruitment, retention, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Assist with survey preparation, plans of correction, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Build strong relationships with residents, families, staff, referral partners, and community stakeholders.
  • Travel between facilities throughout Central North Carolina as needed.
Qualifications
  • Current North Carolina Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) license required.
  • Previous multi-facility or regional leadership experience in skilled nursing preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of SNF operations, regulations, reimbursement, and quality standards.
  • Proven leadership and team-development skills.
  • Strong financial, analytical, communication, and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to travel between facilities throughout the Central NC region.
