Job Summary:The Regional Director of Operations has overall region responsibility for profit, loss, sales, and operations. The Regional Director of Operations is the manager that coordinates the activities of the sales, operations, and administrative staff by working through the Branch Managers. The Regional Director of Operations has the responsibility for training, sales, gross margin, budget, human resources, operations, delivery, customer satisfaction, and profitability of their region.
General Job Duties and Responsibilities: - Ensure that Branch Managers recruit, hire, train, manage, supervise, promote, discipline, and discharge, if necessary, all project-related leadership. Effectively manage and escalate, if necessary, all human resource issues per Company policies and procedures. Review the Branch Managers' recommendations for project-related management's performance ratings, promotions, and pay changes. Provide guidance and mentoring of the team to meet all customer and Company goals and objectives.
- Complete BMs' annual performance reviews.
- Complete weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting as required.
- Attend weekly, monthly, and quarterly meetings as required.
- Responsible for developing opportunities and monitoring sales quota achievement.
- In concert with management develop, lead, and manage the delivery, operations, customer satisfaction, and administrative operations of the region.
- Coordinate the customer account activities with other management when the customer account goes outside of established regional territory.
- Manage the workload distribution and monitor customer delivery and job installation progress.
- Participating in and/or facilitating the bid process.
- Act as the Company liaison for interface with customer representative(s)
- Create, develop, and implement regional process improvement(s).
Other responsibilities as assigned.

- Must possess proven problem-solving skills, critical thinking skills, and the ability to effectively read, write, and give oral presentation(s).
- Must have proven high skill level to interpret blueprints and other project documents, including but not limited to, specifications, reporting, and quality requirements.
- Must be able to travel as needed.
- Must possess the ability to learn Company and customer project management systems.
- Must be able to successfully secure and maintain a Company-sponsored American Express Card.
- Regular attendance is mandatory
Education, Certification, License, and Skill Requirements:- Must possess at least a High School diploma or GED equivalency; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- RCDD certification preferred.
- Must have experience in customer interface, such as liaison between the customer and the Company.
- Must possess a minimum of ten (10) years of supervisory or managerial experience.
- Must have a minimum of seven (7) years of experience in telecommunications or a related technical or construction field.
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and MS Project).
- Must meet Company minimum driving standards.
- Must be able to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously.
- Must be able to supervise multiple Branch Managers and other personnel.
- Must have demonstrated verifiable ability to define a project, create a project scope of work, develop detailed associated tasks, and manage these to completion and customer turnover.
