Responsibilities

Operational Leadership and Regional Performance
  • Provide day-to-day and strategic operational oversight for a multi-state portfolio of senior living communities.
  • Ensure consistent execution of organizational standards, policies, and service expectations across all campuses.
  • Conduct regular on-site visits to assess performance, coach leaders, and support operational needs.
  • Lead operational readiness and integration efforts for new acquisitions, expansions, and program launches.
  • Translate enterprise-level strategy into clear, actionable operational plans for campus leaders.

Quality and Safety
  • Uphold the highest standards of quality, safety, and person-centered care in alignment with the VP of Health Services' strategic direction.
  • Monitor quality metrics and partner with clinical leaders to drive continuous improvement.
  • Ensure each campus delivers a hospitality-driven resident experience that reflects the organization's mission and values.
  • Support the implementation of innovative care models and best practices across the region.

Finance and Business Performance
  • Own regional P&L performance, including census growth, labor management, and expense control.
  • Partner with Executive Directors on budgeting, forecasting, and financial action planning.
  • Analyze performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks - taking decisive action to improve outcomes.
  • Support payer mix optimization and revenue strategies in collaboration with finance and clinical teams.

Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management
  • Ensure all communities operate in full compliance with federal, state, and local regulations across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Support survey readiness, audit preparation, and corrective action planning.
  • Identify and mitigate operational and regulatory risks with urgency and precision.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and proactive compliance.

Leadership Coaching & Talent Development
  • Coach and mentor Executive Directors and department leaders to strengthen leadership capability and operational excellence.
  • Partner with Human Resources and Talent Acquisition Consultants on workforce planning, recruitment, and retention strategies.
  • Support succession planning and leadership development across the region.
  • Reinforce organizational culture, values, and Always Behaviors through consistent leadership presence and modeling.

Cross Functional Partnership
  • Collaborate closely with Health Services, Clinical Quality, HR, TA, Finance, Compliance, and Facilities to support campus needs.
  • Serve as a key operational partner to the VP of Health Services, ensuring alignment between regional execution and enterprise strategy.
  • Participate in organizational initiatives, committees, and strategic projects that advance operational excellence.

Qualifications

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Business, or a related field required
  • Masters preferred


Experience
  • 5+ years of multi-site leadership experience in senior living, long-term care, or healthcare operations.
  • Demonstrated success in operational performance, census growth, and financial management.
  • Strong understanding of multi-state regulatory environments.
  • Experience supporting organizations through growth, change, or transformation preferred.
  • Financial acumen for budgeting, revenue management, and operational efficiency.
