Full Job Description
As the Regional Director of Financial Operations, you will direct the financial operations of a region for the Home Health Division and support the overall financial operations of the Division. Ensure fiscal soundness and discipline of the assigned region and each care center within the region. Provide Regional Executive Vice President accurate and timely information to facilitate operational decisions and helps drive operational initiatives supporting the overall strategy of the Division. You will also be responsible for compliance with applicable laws and regulations, where appropriate.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Financial and Operation Business Partner with the EVP for the region
  • "Owns" and is accountable with the EVP for the financial results of the region
  • Drives market monthly operating reviews (MORs) with VPs and DOOs
  • Drives various revenue growth and cost reduction opportunities specific to the Region and consistent with the overall objectives of the Division
  • Actively involved in the creation, review and approval of all financial models for Start-Ups and Acquisitions within the region
  • "Owns" and is accountable with the EVP for regional field budget roll-ups
  • Creates strategic and operational plans/budgets
  • Develops regional financial forecasts and provides timely and routine updates on status of key operational and financial initiatives expecting to impact financial performance
  • Partner on acquisition integration for region
  • Work with Development on market share opportunities
  • Supports DOOs and VPs with financial analysis and accounting questions
  • Participates in professional activities and maintains professional affiliations to keep abreast of trends/changes in regulations or legislation related to finance and accounting
  • Directs and/or attends and actively participates in meetings/conferences

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Minimum five (5) years experience preferably in the finance function of a health care services organization
  • Strong leadership abilities
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to use computers and generate various reports, spreadsheets and other documents utilizing various software packages and systems, including Microsoft Office products, MicroStrategy and Peoplesoft
  • Strong research and analytical skills
  • Demonstrates strong ability to make decisions and judgments; attentive to details and assumes accountability for consequences of actions taken
  • Must be able to travel 10% of the time


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional licensure is desirable (CFA, CPA, CMA or other license) but not required in lieu of experience


Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $92,088 to $138,132 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
