This role will be accountable for P&L performance, budget management, and cost control across the region. Additional accountabilities include regulatory compliance, resource distribution, employee management and retention, contract adherence, and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate is a results-driven operator with strong financial acumen, a track record of developing frontline leaders, and the ability to balance regional autonomy with corporate standards in a fast-paced, multi-site environment.
Job DescriptionOperational Excellence - Conduct business unit assessments and inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory, customer, and Lazer requirements.
- Identify best practices to reduce driver turnover and ensure management teams build strong relationships to improve retention.
- Develop, execute, and assess programs to ensure that Lazer deploys best practices in yard management solutions.
Customer & Vendor Relations - Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with Customers.
- Utilize available metrics to monitor and maximize customer deliverables.
Safety & Compliance - Lead safety performance by developing and implementing procedures and campaigns that eliminate hazardous behaviors and foster a culture of workplace safety.
Financial Responsibility - Maintain P&L accountability for the region, including budget development and financial forecasting.
- Proactively identify cost-saving opportunities to drive improved financial performance.
Team Leadership & Collaboration - Coach and mentor a team of Regional, Area, and Site Managers, conducting periodic 1:1s, goal setting, and performance reviews.

Qualifications and Experience - Related field with 3+ years' management experience, ideally in supply chain, transportation, or related field, with 5+ years outside management experience with increasing levels of responsibility.
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business, or related field is a plus.
- Proven track record in logistics, warehouse, supply chain, transportation, or related field.
- Ability to quickly understand P&L issues and identify opportunities for improving financial results.
- Experience with Fortune 500 firms preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional customer service orientation and rapport with customers and associates.
- Willingness to travel as necessary.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook, etc.).
- Experience using or willingness to learn approved AI/LLM and automation tools is a plus.
- Must be flexible and adaptable to the ever-changing market and Lazer Logistics objectives and goals.
