Responsibilities

  • Provides proactive outbound telephone support focusing on new accounts and sales opportunities with a target of 15 calls/day.
  • Offers virtual trainings with CEUs for Genie software, targeting 2 sessions/day to build client confidence in Oticon products.
  • Promotes hearing aid products post-trainings to enhance patient fitting experiences.
  • Conducts follow-up calls with accounts ensuring successful first fit and basic dispensing competencies, aiming for 2 hours of talk time/day.
  • Trains new employees on software and hearing aid fitting processes.
  • Documents all customer interactions in Salesforce to ensure team alignment and transparency.
  • Participates in regular sessions with the Sales Operations manager to review calls, successes, and challenges, and attends monthly team meetings to focus on sales processes.

Overview

 

The Regional Audiologist works with their Account Managers, Inside Sales, and Territory Trainer focusing on new accounts, declining accounts, new product buyers, accounts that attend seminars, and follow up on account visits to increase market share. The role requires making pro-active outbound telephone calls assisting with fitting, fine-tuning and product selections. They offer virtual software training to provide fitting and product support remotely to their regional customer base.

Responsibilities
  • Provides outbound telephone support focusing on new accounts, high level report, return for credit report, new product launch and other sales opportunities in the region with a target of 15 calls/day. The customer base includes independent and pediatric customers.
  • Offer virtual trainings that include CEU’s to provide hands on support with Genie software with a target of 2 trainings/day to build confidence with Oticon products and accessories.
  • Provide hearing aid promotions post trainings to have products and accessories available to program to ensure comfort with their patient fittings.
  • Conducts outbound follow up phone calls with accounts to ensure first fit is a success, basic competencies in dispensing products and accessories to ensure competency for a target talk time of 2 hours/day.
  • Train new employees on software, tinnitus, accessories, programming devices, earmolds, etc.
  • Communicate with Account Managers and Inside Sales Representative to assure that everyone has the necessary information on the activity of the customers by documenting all phone calls and contacts through Salesforce.
  • Attend one on one sessions with the Sales Operations manager twice/month to focus on call recordings, challenges, success, projects, etc.
  • Attend monthly team meeting with the Sales Operations group to focus on specific topics such as sales processes, phone skills training, guest speakers from different departments such as Client Systems, Audiology, Production, etc.
  • Ensures a positive Oticon experience with every contact to develop long term customer relationships.
  • May perform miscellaneous tasks/projects as directed by manager.
  • Attend National and Regional events on an as needed basis. Utilize CRM System daily to manage schedule, follow ups, log all sales activities and track daily units.
  • Responsible for maintaining and updating contact information in the CRM system.
Qualifications

Further, final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including but not limited to experience level, knowledge, skills, and abilities. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, such as bonus, commissions, or discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered.
