Overview

We are seeking a Regional Account Manager - Digital to join our Sales team. Reporting to the Regional Sales Director, this role is responsible for driving revenue growth by managing strategic institutional accounts, expanding market share, and increasing adoption of McGraw Hill's digital products and solutions. The Regional Account Manager will build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including executive leaders, administrators, librarians, and other stakeholders, while delivering consultative sales strategies tailored to customer needs.

This is a remote position open to applicants authorized to work for any employer

within the United States. This role requires roughly 25% of travel in your assigned territory. Candidates should reside in the Northeast US.

What would you be doing?

  • Manage and grow strategic institutional accounts by building relationships, identifying customer needs, and increasing adoption of digital products and solutions.
  • Develop and execute account strategies to achieve sales targets, expand market share, and drive long-term customer growth.
  • Engage with executive leaders, decision-makers, and key stakeholders through consultative conversations, presentations, and product demonstrations.
  • Drive renewals, upselling opportunities, and account expansion by delivering customized recommendations aligned with customer goals.
  • Maintain accurate sales pipelines, forecasts, and account activity within Salesforce while providing regular updates on performance and opportunities.
  • Partner cross-functionally with sales leadership and internal teams to deliver customer value, improve account strategies, and support business objectives.


We're looking for someone with:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline required, with 5+ years of successful sales experience, preferably within digital publishing, education technology, healthcare, or a related industry.
  • Proven success in identifying new business opportunities, growing existing accounts through renewals and upselling.
  • Proven success managing and growing strategic accounts while achieving sales targets, increasing revenue, and expanding customer relationships.
  • Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence executive-level stakeholders.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills with the ability to explain complex solutions and tailor recommendations based on customer needs.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and complex sales cycles.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce, Microsoft Office Suite, and digital sales enablement tools, with the ability to quickly learn new technologies and systems.


The pay range for this position is between $67,700 - $100,000 annually. However, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. An annual bonus plan may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical and/or other benefits, depending on the position offered.
