Full Job Description
DermaSensor is seeking a Regional Account Manager (RAM) that is responsible for working with distribution partners and outside sales reps to drive medical device sales, pipeline development and quarterly revenue growth within the assigned region for its FDA-cleared optical spectroscopy solution for skin cancer risk detection. This is a highly execution-focused, customer-facing and performance-based role suited for a account manager who thrives in a fast-paced, early-stage commercial environment. The RAM will support and co-sell with third-party sales team who works with Dermasensor distribution partners selling to primary care, community health and specialty provider organizations to introduce and accelerate adoption of the FDA-cleared and AI-powered DermaSensor solution that improves early detection of skin cancer. This individual will be accountable for building a robust pipeline, closing new business and have a proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets for the region.

Description

Key Responsibilities

Sales Execution and Revenue Growth
  • Achieve and exceed quarterly and annual device sales and revenue targets
  • Manage full sales cycle from prospecting to close within assigned territory
  • Manage the execution of closed business with the distribution partners and sales rep team
  • Drive consistent pipeline generation through outbound activity, referrals, and events
  • Co-sell and achieve revenue goals in coordination with distributors, channel partners and/or 3rd party sales teams


Pipeline Development and Territory Management
  • Build and maintain a high-quality pipeline with accurate forecasts
  • Identify and prioritize target accounts across primary care, community health centers and dermatology
  • Maintain CRM discipline and reporting accuracy
  • Monitor territory performance and adjust the executional strategy to maximize results


Customer Engagement
  • Conduct in-person and virtual meetings, product demonstrations and presentations
  • Clearly communicate clinical, operational, and economic value to provider stakeholders
  • Support onboarding, customer retention and account expansion in partnership with Customer Success to ensure strong ongoing adoption and utilization
  • Effectively communicate clinical value propositions; ability to translate clinical concepts into clear business and workflow impact


Customer Engagement
  • Conduct in-person and virtual meetings, product demonstrations, and presentations
  • Clearly communicate clinical, operational, and financial value to providers
  • Support onboarding, customer retention and account expansion activities, in partnership with Customer Success, to ensure strong and scalable utilization
  • Effectively communicate clinical value propositions; ability to translate clinical concepts into clear business and workflow impact


Cross-functional Collaboration
  • Action inbound leads with urgency to further qualify and increase sales conversion rates
  • Partner with Marketing on campaigns, events and lead generation activities
  • Collaborate with Customer Success to ensure a seamless customer experience
  • Provide field feedback to Commercial, Product, Operations and Clinical leadership teams
  • Engage with Commercial Operations and ensure adherence to sales and CRM system processes


Qualifications and Experience
  • 2 - 5+ years of successful healthcare/medical device sales and/or account management experience
  • Clinical background or credentials (e.g., RN, NP, PA, or prior clinical training) preferred but not required, with demonstrated ability to engage credibly in clinical conversations
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales quotas
  • Experience managing a territory and building pipeline independently
  • Proven track record of field sales execution in partnership with distributors or channel parters to achieve business goals is desired
  • Strong communication, presentation, and closing skills
  • Ability to work independently in a remote, high-growth environment
  • Willingness to travel within territory
  • Clinical background or credentials (e.g., RN, NP, PA, or prior clinical training) preferred but not required, with demonstrated ability to engage credibly in clinical conversations
