Job Summary:
The Business Development Account Executive is responsible for driving revenue growth by building, managing, and expanding strong relationships within the local market. This role focuses on developing strategic partnerships with key decision-makers, identifying new business opportunities, and positioning the company as the preferred provider for services. Success is measured by relationship depth, pipeline development, and consistent revenue generation through proactive outreach, networking, and market presence.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Engagement & Restoration Leadership: Lead clients through the restoration process, ensuring exceptional service, seamless project execution, and proactive problem solving at every stage. Become their trusted advisor, providing peace of mind throughout their restoration experience.
Business Development & Market Expansion: Drive revenue growth by identifying and securing new opportunities within the local market. Build and nurture strategic relationships with key stakeholders, including property managers, insurance adjusters, and local industry owners/leaders, to ensure a steady pipeline of projects. Meet and exceed sales targets by securing multiple MSAs and Contracts that expand Knight's market presence.
Team Collaboration & Mentorship: Collaborate with sales and operational teams to foster a culture of teamwork and continuous learning and process improvement. Share knowledge and provide mentorship to junior team members, driving a high-performance sales culture while helping others grow in their selected vertical.

Account Executive Qualifications:
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales, account management, or business development, preferably in the restoration, construction, or insurance industries.
Experience with project management, especially for smaller-scale restoration projects, is a plus.
Skills:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a client-first mindset and the ability to develop rapport with clients, vendors, and partners.
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and thrive in a fast-paced environment with changing demands and deadlines.

Base Salary: $75,000 - $95,000 per year, based on experience
