Actively recruiting for InP (Indium Phosphide) Talent - Engineers and Technicians

Location: Sherman, TX (north of Dallas)
Company: Coherent Corp - Semiconductor Device Group

Position Overview:
We are seeking skilled and motivated InP Engineers and Technicians to join our growing team. In this role, you will support the design, fabrication, and testing of InP-based semiconductor devices. The ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with III-V semiconductor materials, photonics devices, and cleanroom processes, and a strong commitment to quality and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain equipment for InP wafer processing, device fabrication, and characterization.
  • Perform process development, testing, and optimization for InP-based devices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to materials, devices, and process flow.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, manufacturing, and quality assurance.
  • Document experiments, results, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Maintain a safe and compliant work environment in accordance with company and regulatory standards.

Qualifications - Engineer Level:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or related field.

  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Preferred Skills (Engineers & Technicians):
  • Knowledge of InP-based lasers, modulators, and photonic integrated circuits.
  • Familiarity with cleanroom protocols, safety procedures, and quality standards.
  • Experience in a high-volume manufacturing or R&D environment.
