ABOUT THE ROLEBaselayer is growing, and we're looking for a Recruiter to help us hire the people who will define the company. You'll be owning full-cycle talent acquisition across Engineering, Go-to-Market, and Operations. This is a high-impact, high-ownership role - you'll work directly with founders and hiring managers to build a bar-raising hiring process and bring exceptional people into the team.
WHAT YOU'LL DO- Own full-cycle recruiting for roles across Engineering, GTM, and Operations - from sourcing through offer close
- Partner closely with founders and hiring managers to define role requirements, build scorecards, and maintain a high hiring bar
- Build and manage sourcing strategies to proactively identify top talent through LinkedIn, referrals, events, and creative outreach
- Manage candidate experience end-to-end, ensuring every candidate has a respectful, clear, and timely process
- Maintain and improve our ATS, keeping pipelines clean and data accurate
- Develop and iterate on interview processes that are structured, fair, and predictive of on-the-job success
- Contribute to employer brand efforts - help tell the Baselayer story to attract candidates who are excited about our mission
- Track recruiting metrics and report on pipeline health, time-to-fill, and quality of hire
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS- 2+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally at a high-growth startup or in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated success hiring across Technical and/or GTM roles
- Strong sourcing skills - you know how to find and engage passive candidates, not just manage inbound
- Excellent communication and organizational skills; you run a tight, candidate-friendly process
- Experience with an ATS (Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, or similar)
- Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter
WORK LOCATION- Based in NYC; hybrid - 4 days per week in office.
COMPENSATION- Salary Range: $90,000 - $120,000 + Equity
