Description & Requirements The Real Estate Project Manager will manage the Forvis Mazars National Real Estate Program and is responsible for managing external relationships with Forvis Mazars commercial real estate brokers, architects, furniture, audio visual providers, contractors, and others involved in real estate projects. This position is also responsible for managing firm-wide real estate projects, including but not limited to, Forvis Mazars office and other Forvis Mazars facilities' lease administration, physical security, office remodels, expansions, and relocations according to Forvis Mazars standards for office design, furniture, audio visual technology, etc.
What You Will Do: - Assign tasks and projects to members of the Forvis Mazars Real Estate team and be responsible for the supervision thereof.
- Work with managing partners, office managers, and others to understand and respond to their needs for and within their office space.
- Supervise the Real Estate team in developing and managing project plans, including site selection, lease negotiation, space planning/design, construction, ordering and installing furniture and audio visual, and move-in.
- Manage Forvis Mazars relationships with commercial real estate brokers, architects, furniture and audio-visual providers, contractors, and others involved in real estate projects.
- Proactively address and communicate issues that could impact the timely and successful completion of projects.
- Be responsible for the Real Estate team's maintenance of the firm's real estate leases and key terms including proactively initiating plans to address expiring leases.
- Collaborate with firm management, vendors, and service providers to develop and maintain firm-wide standards for real estate, space design, furniture, audio visual, etc.
- Lead the selection of, and relationships with, preferred providers of brokerage and architectural services, furniture, audio visual, and other products or services where standardization is beneficial to the firm.
- Accountable for managing collaboration with other departments in order to set up, maintain, and update offices in accordance with the firm's real estate needs.
- Proactively identify areas for improvements in the firm's real estate management and processes in order to optimize the firm's facilities and management of those spaces.
Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in a related field
- 5+ years of related experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint
- Ability to travel 20-30%
