The Corporate Real Estate and Capital Projects team supports the execution of our global real estate portfolio and drives operational excellence across our global locations. By managing lease transactions and workplace projects, we ensure our physical spaces align with our dynamic business needs. Our team acts as the connective tissue between Finance, Legal, Operations, and external partners to deliver impactful, world-class real estate initiatives.
The Real Estate Portfolio Lead Opportunity

Reporting to the Director, Corporate Real Estate & Capital Projects, this role will manage lease transactions, workplace improvement projects, and drive continuous improvement across our global portfolio. You will combine transaction management, project coordination, and advanced analytics in a fast-paced environment to ensure the timely delivery of key real estate and business objectives.
What you'll be doing
  • Manage comprehensive transaction activities-including lease acquisitions, renewals, and dispositions-while tracking critical dates, preparing business cases, and maintaining accurate pipeline dashboards.
  • Analyze portfolio metrics and maintain data integrity to support occupancy planning, long-range financial planning, evaluating costs, seat-sharing ratios, utilization trends, and capital project performance.
  • Coordinate small-to-medium workplace and relocation projects by developing budgets and schedules, monitoring milestones, and collaborating with cross-functional teams like Facilities, IT, Security, and HR.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline project delivery and optimize operations by developing standard operating procedures and supporting the rollout of CRE AI platforms.
What you'll bring to the role
  • Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business, Finance, Architecture, or a related field.
  • 5-8 years of direct experience in Corporate Real Estate, Transaction Management, Portfolio Operations, and Project Management.
  • Proven track record of supporting lease negotiations and transactions worldwide, backed by strong financial and analytical capabilities.
  • Advanced proficiency in the Google suite, creating executive presentations, and effectively managing relationships with cross-functional stakeholders.

Below is the annual base salary range for candidates located in San Francisco Bay Area. Your actual base salary will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location. In addition, Okta offers equity (where applicable), bonus, and benefits, including health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), flexible spending account, and paid leave (including PTO and parental leave) in accordance with our applicable plans and policies. The annual base salary range for this position for candidates located in the San Francisco Bay area is between:

$132,000-$182,600 USD
