  • Support GMD obsolescence tracking and prioritization to identify components and systems that may require technology refresh.
  • Assist with tracking and management of obsolescence and reliability risks, issues, and opportunities.
  • Track Failure Reporting and Corrective Action System (FRACAS) part failures and Limited Life Items for potential incorporation into technology refresh plans.
  • Monitor GMD readiness part usage to support the establishment and refinement of sparing reorder points.
  • Utilize the Maintenance, Inventory, Reliability, Obsolescence, Records (MIRO) database to monitor and assess sustainment of the GMD System.
  • Assist with development, maintenance, and implementation of the GMD Obsolescence Management Plan.
  • Support Reliability Review Boards (RRBs) and Obsolescence and Technology Refresh Advisory Boards.
  • Analyze logistics, maintenance, reliability, and inventory data to identify trends, potential readiness impacts, and sustainment requirements.
  • Coordinate with engineering, logistics, maintenance, reliability, supply chain, and program personnel to resolve sustainment issues and develop appropriate courses of action.
  • Provide data and analysis supporting spare requirements, replenishment decisions, maintenance planning, and technology refresh activities.
