About the RoleYou'll work within our mobile team to maintain and build out new features for our client-facing mobile app. The app provides tools for our clients to view the status of and make changes to their program after they enroll with us, as well as the ability to directly chat with our support team.

What You'll Do- Design and build our iOS and Android apps using React Native consuming APIs built with Ruby on Rails
- Participate in technical conversations with other engineers to help steer decisions in the right direction
- Offer constructive and respectful feedback via code reviews
- Assist other engineers in resolving or removing blockers they might encounter
- Research and promote design patterns and practices that fit our technical challenges
- Write automated unit and integration tests as well as build tools to assist in testing various aspects of our app
- Build in business and technical metrics alongside the features themselves to further us as a data-driven organization
- Work with our DevOps and QA teams to ensure quality in our builds and releases.

What We Look For- 3+ years of experience developing, releasing, and maintaining production-quality mobile apps with React Native on iOS and Android
- Proficiency with Typescript
- Basic familiarity with one or more native mobile languages such as Swift or Kotlin
- Experience building and consuming APIs
- Ability to troubleshoot production issues in unfamiliar code
- Experience scoping projects into small iterations for release
- Clear and efficient communication skills
- Eagerness to grow both technical and leadership skills
- Experience with and willingness to work with agentic AI coding tools

The base annual salary range is listed below. This role is eligible for additional incentives, including an annual bonus.
Base Salary Range
$120,000-$140,000 USD
