Job Summary
The RDP Consultant will support clients in implementing and optimizing Responsible Design & Production (RDP) solutions to address sustainability, packaging compliance, environmental reporting, and Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) requirements. The role requires strong functional consulting, product and packaging data management, and business process analysis experience, with the ability to translate regulatory and business requirements into scalable technology solutions. The consultant will work with business stakeholders and cross-functional global teams throughout requirements gathering, solution design, implementation, testing, deployment, and post-production support.
Key Responsibilities
• Partner with business stakeholders to understand sustainability, compliance, and packaging reporting requirements.
• Conduct workshops, requirements-gathering sessions, and solution design discussions with client teams.
• Configure and support Responsible Design & Production (RDP) solutions based on business requirements.
• Analyze product and packaging data to support regulatory compliance and sustainability reporting.
• Support data collection, validation, cleansing, and governance activities related to packaging and environmental compliance.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Product Development, Sustainability, Compliance, and IT teams.
• Prepare business process documentation, functional specifications, and user training materials.
• Participate in system testing, defect resolution, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Support solution deployment activities and provide post-production support.
• Monitor regulatory changes and recommend process and solution improvements to clients.
Required Qualifications
• 4+ years of experience in Responsible Design & Production (RDP), sustainability compliance, environmental reporting, or related consulting engagements.
• 4+ years of experience in functional consulting, business process analysis, or solution implementation.
• Strong understanding of Product and Packaging Data Management processes.
• Experience supporting Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR), packaging compliance, environmental fee calculation, or sustainability reporting initiatives.
• Experience conducting client workshops, business requirements gathering, and solution design sessions.
• Knowledge of packaging materials, product lifecycle processes, and sustainability regulations.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with data mapping, data quality management, and reporting processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and effectively within global project teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Supply Chain, Sustainability, Environmental Science, Business, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Product and Packaging Data Management.
• Knowledge of global sustainability and environmental compliance frameworks.
• Experience in consumer products, manufacturing, retail, packaging, or life sciences industries.
• Exposure to regulatory compliance reporting and EPR programs.
• Experience working in global consulting environments.
• Understanding of ESG, circular economy, and sustainability initiatives.
• Familiarity with enterprise applications supporting sustainability and compliance processes.
• Relevant sustainability, supply chain, or consulting certifications.
