Job Description Summary:The RCM Regional Sales Manager, Strategic, is responsible for driving revenue growth and market share for Modernizing Medicine's Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) solutions within a designated strategic territory. This role focuses on developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy to acquire new, large-scale client accounts and expand relationships with existing strategic partners.
Your Role:- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed RCM sales targets within the assigned region.
- Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities with large physician practices, health systems, and other strategic healthcare organizations.
- Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and initial contact to proposal generation, negotiation, and contract closing.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within target accounts.
- Conduct in-depth needs assessments and present compelling value propositions tailored to the specific RCM challenges and objectives of prospective clients.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, including RCM operations, product, and marketing, to ensure seamless client onboarding and ongoing satisfaction.
- Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts and pipeline reports to management.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes impacting the RCM market.
- Represent Modernizing Medicine at industry conferences, trade shows, and other networking events.
- Utilize CRM tools effectively to track sales activities, manage leads, and report on progress.
Skills & Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of successful strategic sales experience in healthcare RCM, medical billing services, or healthcare IT.
- Proven track record of consistently exceeding sales quotas and closing large, complex deals with strategic accounts.
- Deep understanding of the healthcare revenue cycle, including front-end, mid-cycle, and back-end processes.
- Strong knowledge of physician practice revenue cycle operations, including billing, coding, claims, denials, A/R, reimbursement, and payer dynamics.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build rapport and establish credibility with C-level executives and key stakeholders.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to travel domestically up to 25%.
