Full Job Description
Job Status: Permanent Full-Time

Work Timings: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm

Work Location: Hybrid

Salary Range: $100,000-$115,000 per year

In this role, you will:
  • Lead end-to-end raw material qualification and approval projects, ensuring materials meet quality, regulatory, and commercial requirements before production use.
  • Coordinate and influence cross-functional stakeholders across Procurement, Quality, Regulatory, Innovation, Formulations, and Supply Planning to keep approvals on track and aligned with business priorities.
  • Liaise with suppliers to obtain, review, and manage technical and compliance documentation, including CoAs, GMP certifications, manufacturing processes, and regulatory records.
  • Manage approval activities, change controls, risk assessments, and qualification records while prioritizing multiple concurrent projects based on business urgency.
  • Develop dashboards, reports, and executive-level summaries that provide visibility into project status, risks, timelines, and implementation progress.

You have:
  • A Bachelor's degree in a science discipline such as Biotechnology, Nutrition, Chemistry, Food Science, Life Sciences, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, Quality, Technical, or related roles within nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, food, cannabis, agricultural commodities, or other regulated industries.
  • Demonstrated project management experience coordinating complex cross-functional initiatives; PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or similar training is an asset.
  • Experience interpreting technical specifications, supplier documentation, GMP requirements, regulatory compliance records, and raw material qualification processes.
  • Strong commercial awareness combined with excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to make sound risk-based decisions in a fast-paced environment.
