What You Will Do

Utilize remote asset monitoring technologies and advanced diagnostic methods to independently evaluate equipment performance trends, identify reliability risks and maintenance opportunities, and develop data-driven recommendations that improve equipment availability, maintenance effectiveness, and operational performance across assigned sites. Serve as the primary liaison between IROC and site Maintenance, Planning, Operations, and Reliability teams by applying technical expertise, analytical judgment, and business understanding to influence decisions, support reliability improvement initiatives, and drive achievement of site performance objectives.
  • Serve as the trusted reliability partner for assigned sites, building strong relationships with Maintenance, Planning, Operations, and Reliability teams to identify opportunities that improve equipment performance, asset utilization, and business results. Leverage advanced analytics, operational insights, and predictive monitoring data to influence maintenance and operational strategies, drive adoption of RAMP best practices, and support achievement of site reliability and production goals.
  • Utilize predictive monitoring technologies, condition-based maintenance tools, and advanced diagnostic methods to proactively identify equipment health concerns, reliability risks, and performance improvement opportunities. Apply independent judgment to evaluate operational impacts, recommend corrective actions, validate intervention effectiveness, and provide actionable insights that enhance equipment availability, reliability, and operational efficiency.
  • Partner with the RAMP Enterprise Product Management team and technical stakeholders to help shape the future of remote asset monitoring by supporting the design, enhancement, testing, implementation, and sustainment of digital tools, dashboards, workflows, and monitoring solutions that improve decision-making and operational performance.
  • Contribute to the development, validation, and deployment of emerging remote monitoring technologies and diagnostic capabilities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate new solutions, support field implementation efforts, and ensure technologies deliver measurable reliability and business value.
  • Champion continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance monitoring processes, analytical methodologies, reporting capabilities, and documentation practices. Serve as a technical resource for site stakeholders and developing RAMP team members, providing guidance on equipment performance trends, reliability risks, maintenance opportunities, and data interpretation.
  • Perform other duties as assigned in support of departmental objectives, operational excellence, and business priorities.


What You Bring To Freeport

  • High School Diploma or GED and seven (7) years of progressive mechanical, electrical, maintenance, reliability, operations, analytics, or remote monitoring experience;
    OR
  • Bachelor's degree and three (3) years of related experience.
  • Demonstrated experience analyzing equipment or operational data and communicating recommendations to operational, maintenance, and leadership stakeholders.
  • Ability to independently prioritize work, manage multiple responsibilities, and exercise sound judgment with limited supervision
  • Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, equipment-monitoring, reliability, maintenance, or operational principles.
  • Ability to identify trends, diagnose equipment performance issues, assess risks, and develop practical recommendations that improve asset reliability and operational effectiveness.
  • Skilled in using computer systems, databases, dashboards, monitoring platforms, and analytical tools to research, maintain, interpret, and communicate equipment performance information.
  • Ability to communicate technical findings, risks, recommendations, and complex concepts clearly and effectively to maintenance, operations, reliability, and corporate stakeholders while influencing decisions without direct authority.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills with the ability to summarize findings, risks, and recommended actions.
  • Ability to maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions while supporting work in office, remote monitoring, mine, outdoor, manufacturing, or plant environments.
  • Up to 75% travel may be required based on site and business needs
  • Dayshift - Monday through Friday.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with predictive monitoring, reliability engineering, maintenance strategy optimization, SAP, OSI PI, Python, dashboards, or digital asset monitoring tools.
  • Experience partnering with Maintenance, Planning, Operations, and Reliability teams across multiple sites or business segments.
  • Experience supporting mine sites or operating areas with analytical tools, diagnostic methods, or equipment performance improvement initiatives through IROC or similar monitoring programs
  • Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority and drive adoption of reliability improvement initiatives.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
  • RAMP/Reliability experience
  • Continuous improvement mindset with experience supporting process optimization, tool enhancements, and performance improvement initiatives.


What We Offer You

The estimated annual pay range for this role is currently $87,500-$120,000. This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors. This role is eligible for additional discretionary and incentive payment considerations based on company and individual performance. More details will be shared during the hiring process.
