Must-Have:
- Knowledgeable in all aspects of Diagnostic Imaging, including Surgery and Trauma.
- Previous Radiologic Technologist experience preferred.
- One year post certification experience required to evaluate and/or instruct student radiographers.

Description:
Provide quality patient care to all patients within the medical imaging department.
Perform high-quality images and exams on patients while maintaining sensitivity to patient needs.
Follow standards of safe radiation practice.
Demonstrate leadership abilities and serve as a role model for other associate technologists.
Act as a clinical resource to students and staff technologists.
Ensure adherence to current standards of practice for the unit.
Perform diagnostic radiology procedures while ensuring the safety of self, patients, and others.
Practice radiation safety, keeping exposure to as low as reasonably achievable (ALARA).
Produce quality images in a complete, accurate, and timely manner.
Prepare patients for exams.
Provide information and instruction to patients and their families regarding procedures, addressing their physical and emotional needs.
Assist patients during exams and position them accordingly.
Observe patients and equipment during procedures, reporting and documenting unusual occurrences and recording patients' conditions.
Facilitate smooth patient flow, scheduling, and optimal use of equipment and resources.
Communicate verbally and in writing with physicians, imaging personnel, students, and staff.
Assist with patient transport as needed.
Perform IV starts and contrast administration as required.
As assigned, perform duties of other registered modalities.
Provide on-call coverage outside standard scheduled hours as per department policy.
Correctly input charges and required data for procedures and supplies used.
Complete all required paperwork for each exam performed.
Prepare rooms, equipment, and materials needed for exams.
Maintain technical operation of equipment, notifying service when necessary.
Notify supervisors of equipment problems and log service calls.
Maintain a clean work area for employees and patients.
Ensure quality checks and equipment maintenance documentation are completed as per department procedures.
Be proactive in identifying problems and follow up with appropriate management personnel.
Establish a constructive rapport with physicians, staff, and departments.
Maintain high skill levels through ongoing education and meeting attendance.
May assist in the clinical and didactic education of student radiographers and other healthcare professionals.
Show an interest in teaching students, encouraging them to perform examinations, and providing feedback on radiographs.
Participate in clinical training and provide support to students and staff technologists.
Provide guidance for the development of clinical skills and explain equipment and department procedures.
Engage in professional activities through involvement in organizations, journal clubs, and online education.
Demonstrate a positive attitude toward the profession.
Actively participate in department and quality improvement initiatives.
