Job Description Summary:

Position Responsibilities
  • Perform and interpret diagnostic imaging procedures including general X-rays, GI fluoroscopic studies, abdominal and pelvic CT/CTA scans, abdominal and pelvic MRI/MRA scans, as well as dedicated studies such as Prostate MRI.
  • Interpret imaging studies in timely fashion and communicate findings to referring physicians accordingly.
  • Work closely with other physicians and healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients, for example by participating in multidisciplinary meetings such as tumor boards.
  • Teach and mentor radiology residents and medical students in diagnostic body imaging.
  • Participate in quality assurance and improvement activities to ensure the highest level of patient care.


Qualifications

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
  • Board certification in Diagnostic Radiology. Subspecialty training and or experience in Abdominal and Oncologic Radiology a plus.
  • Currently holding or the ability to obtain and or maintain a Florida medical license.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills in team environment.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
