Administers individualized radiation therapy treatments to patients. Performs clinical stimulations. Calculates simple dosimetry, verifies treatment parameters and maintains necessary data, as well as assesses patients daily. Practices personal accountability and leads staff to be personally accountable for the organizational mission and core values. Assumes twenty-four hour responsibility for the operations of the department in order that quality patient care will be delivered in the most cost effective manner.
Ideal candidate will have an advanced degree, documented experience as a coordinator or preceptor, and charge champion experience with billing and coding for radiation therapy treatments.
Job Requirements
In addition to bringing humankindness to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:
- High School Diploma/G.E.D. Required
- Trade/Technical School Required Completion of an ARRT approved school of Radiation Therapy Required
- 5 years experience in Radiation Therapy Required
- 2 years in leadership/management position, preferred.
- Radiation Therapy American Registry of Radiologic Technologists ARRT RT(T) Required
Physical Requirements Sedentary work - prolonged periods of sitting and exert up to 10 lbs. force occasionally
