Department: Radiation Therapy

Schedule: Day shift | Full-time

Salary range: $40.55 - $59.30 per hour

Sign-On Bonus: Up to $10,000.00

How you'll make an impact in this role

  • Accurately prepare and position patients, selecting appropriate anatomic and technical parameters.
  • Deliver the prescribed patient treatment plan in collaboration with the physician and dosimetrist.
  • Maintain and adjust necessary equipment, including the linear accelerator.
  • Maintain detailed records of all therapy sessions and ensure compliance with all regulatory agency standards.
  • Ensure prompt submission of high-quality images and documents sent to PACS.

What minimum requirements you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Radiation Therapist credentialed from the Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Radiation Therapist credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
    obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date required.


Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

What additional preferences we're seeking

  • one or more year acute care facility experience.
