Responsibilities

  • Serving as the Business Manager for the Radiation Oncology service line, including practice management responsibility for several oncology clinics
  • Developing measureable objectives and monitoring program growth, patient care and satisfaction
  • Staffing, employee development, physician relations, interdepartmental relations and adherence to regulatory requirements for radiation oncology
  • Providing support to the system level Oncology Service Line, and managing the Oncology budget
  • Collaborating with all clinical leadership at both at the Network and facility levels to include free-standing and hospital sites on program marketing, business development, strategic planning, and oncology outreach initiatives.
  • Conducting regular management team meetings. Providing all support needed for department leaders to perform their jobs.
  • Conducting annual job evaluations for team leaders and direct reports.
  • Meeting all Workforce Metrics, Productivity, Financial, and Departmental goals and objectives.

Qualifications

  • Five to seven years radiation oncology management experience
  • Previous related experience in dealing with complex financial and management issues in a multidisciplinary clinical environment
  • High level of analytical skills necessary to develop and implement new systems, techniques, and/or procedures
  • ARRT certification
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited radiation therapy program required; Master's preferred
  • Must be willing to travel between sites as required
