Responsibilities

  • Perform X-Ray imaging for various patient types including outpatient and inpatient.
  • Assist in the operating room, managing radiologic needs for surgeries.
  • Execute whole body imaging particularly for musculoskeletal and neuro cases.
  • Ensure safety and quality in imaging processes for sedated and vented patients.
  • Maintain equipment and uphold standards set by the hospital and industry.

Job Title: Radiologic Technologist

License: Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
Certifications: BLS, ARRT

Must-Have:
- OR experience
- Experience with whole body imaging, musculoskeletal, neuro, and portables
- Level 1 or 2 trauma experience

Description:
The position requires a Radiologic Technologist specializing in X-Ray imaging.
Candidates with 1 year of experience may be accepted but 3 years is preferred.
Experience in the operating room is required.
First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
Patients include outpatient, inpatient, emergency department, operating room, NICU, pediatrics, vented, and sedated.
The average number of patients per day is 15-20.
No fluoroscopy procedures such as lumbar punctures or GI studies will be performed.
Equipment used includes Carestream, GE rooms, and GE C-arm.
Experience with EPIC is preferred.
Charting system used is EPIC; Sectra may be utilized as well.
Shifts will vary as needed, including weekend rotation.
On-call duties are rare and will be discussed during the interview process.
Holiday expectations will also be addressed in the interview.
Approval for time off will be required.
Scrub color will be provided in blue for OR procedures.
