Full Job Description
We are looking for an R&D & Product Care Engineer. This position will be based at Heber Springs, Arkansas.

In this role, you will support the full lifecycle of medium-voltage overhead switching products, including design, testing, product localization, and ongoing product care. You will collaborate cross-functionally across engineering, operations, quality, and manufacturing teams to drive innovation, improve reliability, and optimize product performance. This position blends hands-on engineering with product lifecycle ownership in a team-oriented environment.

You'll make a difference by:
  • Driving product lifecycle management, product care, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Supporting design, development, and localization of medium-voltage overhead switching products
  • Leading validation, testing, and qualification activities, including hands-on testing
  • Partnering with operations, manufacturing, quality, and sourcing teams
  • Advancing design-to-cost and design-for-manufacturing initiatives
  • Implementing product improvements based on performance and feedback
  • Maintaining technical documentation, specifications, drawings, and reports

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience with the following:
    • Medium-voltage products, switchgear, or overhead switching equipment
    • Electromechanical engineering design and development
    • NX and Teamcenter or similar CAD/PLM tools
    • Product validation, testing, and manufacturing introduction
    • Cross-functional engineering collaboration
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of UL, IEEE, or utility standards
  • Experience in product lifecycle management, product care, or localization
  • Familiarity with SAP or ERP tools
  • Understanding of IT systems or TCP/IP communication
  • Experience in a global engineering environment

The pay range for this position is $83,966 - $143,942 annually. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
