Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of relevant R&D experience with an advanced degree, or 7+ years with a bachelor's.
• Strong experience in Process Development, Design of Experiments (DOE), and Process Validation.
• Proficiency in statistical analysis and advanced troubleshooting skills.
• Experience in the medical device or regulated industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, characterization, and validation processes for medical device R&D.
• Design and execute experiments including DOE, TMV, and IQ/OQ/PQ studies.
• Apply statistical techniques and problem-solving skills to enhance processes and products.
• Lead complex R&D projects while mentoring team members and collaborating across teams.
• Support product development throughout research to implementation phases.
