About the role
As an R&D Assistant at Reckitt, you will thrive in our fast-paced environment alongside a team of expert scientists dedicated to ensuring product safety and efficacy. Your meticulous attention to detail will be crucial in supporting technical dossier management and analytical lab compliance.
Your responsibilities
The R&D Assistant will apply technical knowledge working toward multiple project goals and objectives within
established timelines.
• Prepare various formulations in the lab and conduct performance evaluations (e.g. cleaning, fragrancing, life
span, foaming) on formula applications.
• Conduct chemical and physical evaluations (e.g. titrations, viscosity, pH, stability, compatibility, phase
behavior, surface tension) on various formula applications.
• Maintain MSDS files, chemical inventory and effective operation of laboratory equipment.
• Maintain detailed records of experiments performed and generating reports on results achieved.
• Coordinate product testing with Microbiology, Information Services, Sensory and Analytical Groups, as
needed.
• Order laboratory supplies and chemicals.
The experience we're looking for
• High School diploma with at least 5 years of lab experience or Associates Degree in Science with 1-2 years
related experience in Personal Care and/or Surface Care
• Knowledge or experience of the Consumer Products market.
• Good organizational and problem-solving skills
• Good interpersonal skills
• Strong oral communication skills to effectively provide feedback to project teams or immediate supervisor
• Strong written communication skills for accurate data entry and concise lab reports
• Results-oriented and self-motivating, seeking information from others to accomplish objectives
• Ability to display a degree of flexibility and adapt effectively to change
• Timely execution of multiple project objectives within established timelines
• Desire to learn, apply, and enhance skill set while seeking new opportunities
• Good networking and communication skills
• GLP/GMP experience a plus.
• Knowledge of common software applications, including MSOffice and other related computer skills

US salary ranges
USD $71,000.00 - $107,000.00
US pay transparency
The base salary range for this role will vary based on experience in job and industry, training and education, skills relevant to the position, and other factors permitted by law. In addition to the base salary, the position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, which is subject to change each year.
