Quote SpecialistLocation: RiversidePay Range: $80,000-$95,000/yr. Schedule: Onsite from 8am - 5pm Position Summary:We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Quote Specialist to join our team. This role is crucial in providing accurate and timely cost quotations to support our sales and business development efforts. Ideal candidates will have a solid finance, business or engineering background, combined with strong costing or pricing development experience.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and prepare accurate, competitive, and timely quotes for custom vehicle builds and client specifications.
- Analyze material, labor, and overhead costs in coordination with engineering and production teams.
- Collaborate with Sales, Finance, and Engineering departments to ensure pricing accuracy and margin targets.
- Maintain costing models and update them based on material or process changes.
- Interface with dealers and customers to understand technical requirements and pricing expectations.
- Track quote performance and assist in quote-to-order conversion analysis.
- Support continuous improvement in costing and quoting processes.
Position Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Engineering
- 3+ years of experience in costing, pricing, quote analysis, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
- Experience with ERP and quoting systems.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in financial calculations.
- OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer)
- Experience in Medium and Heavy Duty Bus, Truck, or RV Manufacturers
Work Environment:This is an onsite position based in Riverside, CA and requires being onsite.
