Summary
Quantum Algorithm Engineer required to help translate quantum algorithms into practical, hardware-ready implementations. You will develop and optimise quantum circuits, build software tools for quantum computing workflows, and collaborate with research and hardware teams to improve the performance and scalability of quantum systems.

This role is ideal for a software-focused quantum researcher or engineer who enjoys working at the intersection of quantum algorithms, scientific computing, and emerging hardware technologies.

Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and optimise quantum circuits for execution on target quantum hardware architectures
  • Develop software tools and frameworks for quantum circuit compilation, transpilation, optimisation, and deployment
  • Profile and benchmark quantum circuit performance to identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities
  • Work closely with research and hardware teams to translate algorithmic concepts into practical implementations
  • Build and maintain internal quantum software infrastructure and tooling
  • Improve workflows for scalable quantum computing development and experimentation
  • Contribute to the advancement of quantum software capabilities through robust, maintainable code

Requirements
