Job Description

Use your analytical skills and business knowledge to identify opportunities to improve our customer's experience and reduce cost of loan servicing!

As a Quant Analytics Lead on the Home Lending Servicing Data & Analytics Team, you will collaborate with stakeholders in the Home Lending division in formulating quantifiable goals and developing strategies and experimentation to achieve these goals. You will lead execution of KPIs, trend analysis, dashboards and analyses including segmentations, optimizations, and other techniques to improve business function performance, new product development and better customer experience.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Synthesize data from different sources to identify meaningful trends and patterns that will help mortgage operations improve the overall customer experience.
  • Perform data discovery work to manipulate and analyze complex, high-volume, high-dimensionality data from varying sources to help develop various types of data-driven Home Lending products/initiatives.
  • Work closely with business partners to help identify opportunities to improve operations and employee efficiency.
  • Convert data to actionable insights and leverage data visualization tools to effectively tell a story.
  • Extract data from various sources using SQL queries.
  • Identify opportunities with AI and Large Language Models (LLM) to improve processes within Data & Analytics
  • Work directly with business partners across multiple channels to evaluate needs, develop end-to-end solutions, and implement those solutions within budget, control requirements, and Service level agreements.
  • Collaborate with IT groups to design infrastructure.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative, analytical, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in an advanced analytics role
  • Strong SQL knowledge, including complex queries, stored procedures, etc
  • Experience with relational databases and query optimization to pull and summarize large datasets with focus on efficiency.
  • Capable of defining metrics, evaluating results, drawing conclusions and insights to design and recommend system or process improvements.
  • Critical and analytical thinking with a data-oriented mindset
  • Ability to develop advanced data visualization and presentations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Understanding of Mortgage Servicing and Default operations

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
  • Advanced analytics experience, with preferred knowledge in one or more of these tools: Power BI, Tableau, Python, Alteryx
  • Functional industry experience in operations, marketing, credit/risk, or finance
  • Prior experience leading data or analytic projects. Leading prior teams is preferred.
