What You'll Need to Succeed:
- Proven experience in chemical manufacturing quality management.
- Strong knowledge of GMP standards and familiarity with certifications such as ISO 9001, BRCGS, FSSC22000, EXCiPACT, Kosher, Halal, and RSPO.
- Demonstrated leadership in managing and conducting internal and external audits.
- Expertise in validation protocols, risk assessments (FMEA, HACCP), and validation master plans.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and root cause analysis skills.
- Ability to develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems.
- Effective communication skills to lead committees, deliver training, and collaborate across teams.
- Proficiency in managing documentation, KPIs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Prior experience leading pharmaceutical certification projects (e.g., Pharma/EXCiPACT).
- Familiarity with FDA regulations, specifically the Foreign Supplier Verification Program.
- Experience with 5S programs and process mapping.
- Ability to manage budgets and process invoices efficiently.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Quality Assurance, Chemistry, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of quality management experience in the chemical manufacturing sector.
- Certification in quality or food safety management (e.g., Lead Auditor, CQE) is a plus.
Other Requirements:
- Onsite presence in Port Neches, TX; local candidates strongly encouraged.
- Ability to support occasional travel or on-site activities as needed.
