About the Role

The Quality Systems & Continuous Improvement Engineer is responsible for leading the development, implementation, and sustainment of the site's Quality Management System (QMS) while driving Continuous Improvement initiatives that enhance operational performance. This role also holds responsibility for developing, maintaining, and improving Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) programs to ensure a safe and compliant workplace. You will work cross-functionally with Operations, Engineering, Service, and other teams to strengthen processes, resolve issues, and build a culture of quality and operational excellence.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the implementation, administration, and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System, including gap assessments, deployment planning, and staff training.
  • Manage Management of Change processes to ensure long-term QMS effectiveness and sustainment.
  • Oversee Quality Control procedures, including incoming inspections, control plans, and warranty/OBF management.
  • Facilitate documentation of business processes and administer the Document Management System.
  • Partner with functional leaders to maintain employee training plans and records.
  • Conduct internal audits, identify non-conformances, and drive corrective and preventive actions.
  • Establish, track, and report QMS KPIs, including audit results, quality objectives, resource adequacy, and cost-of-quality metrics.
  • Lead and project-manage Continuous Improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Coach and train employees to strengthen a culture of Continuous Improvement.
  • Facilitate kaizen events and CI workshops to empower teams and deliver measurable results.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain site HSE programs, including procedures, audits, corrective actions, and compliance initiatives.
  • Ensure HSE programs are aligned with corporate standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with Quality Managers across the PAC organization and the Director of Continuous Improvement.


What You Bring

  • Bachelor of Engineering and 5+ years of experience in Operations, Quality Systems Management, or Process Improvement.
  • Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and QMS administration.
  • Certified Lean/Six Sigma Leader with hands-on project deployment experience.
  • Experience in organizational risk assessment and management.
  • ASQ certifications (CMQ/OE, Lead Auditor, Quality Engineer) are an asset.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including documentation and presentation.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems and MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong interpersonal, facilitation, and problem-solving abilities.
