Responsibilities

What you'll do...

The primary responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:
  • Conduct internal audits by regularly inspecting support systems and manufacturing processes to verify compliance with corporate quality and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify and address gaps in established procedures and quality standards, documenting audit results, and preparing reports to communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
  • Assist and organize external audits, ensuring that necessary facilities are available and manufacturing teams are prepared to provide essential support for accurate and useful assessments.
  • Drive continuous improvement through collaboration with manufacturing teams to identify robust corrective actions and track their effectiveness.
  • Stay current on industry regulations, standards, and best practices.
  • Assess communications from the Global Quality Office, including procedure changes and action replication requests, for their implications on site operations.
  • Communicate these changes to manufacturing teams, validate their implementation, and provide feedback to the Global Quality Office.
  • Support staff training on quality assurance policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
  • Coach and train site personnel on Manufacturing Quality Operating System (MQOS) and Quality Process Implementation Plan (QPIP) requirements, assessing gaps and developing work plans for closure.
  • Maintain comprehensive data and reports to support daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly quality reviews.

Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field of study.


Experience:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with high volume manufacturing.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working with manufacturing quality.

Experience:
  • Prior experience working as a manufacturing quality auditor.
  • Solid analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated understanding of regulatory standards, compliance requirements, and quality management principles.
  • Ability to identify gaps, analyze data, and determine root causes of issues.
  • Proactive approach to identifying and resolving quality-related challenges.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills to convey audit findings, communicate policy changes, and provide training.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing personnel and global quality offices.
  • Meticulous in documenting audit results, preparing reports, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks and projects.


This posting is for an existing vacancy within our team.

The expected annual salary range for this position is $85,000.00 - $135,000.00 and individuals may be eligible to participate in our Annual Compensation bonus program.

Successful candidates will be required to provide proof of degree completion for the highest level of education attained. If the degree was obtained from a school outside of Canada, an Education Credential Assessment report showing Canadian equivalency is also required.
