Job Description Summary
The Customs and Trade Compliance Lead is responsible for ensuring operational processes and procedures are properly implemented, followed consistently, and supported through effective training and oversight. This hands-on role supports audit activities, operational reviews, recovery initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts across the organization.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and a strong critical thinker who can identify process gaps, investigate issues, support corrective actions, and drive operational efficiency.

Job Description:
  • Perform customs entries audits and transactional reviews to identify potential corrections, process gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities.
  • Ensure operational procedures and controls are implemented and consistently followed across teams and service providers.
  • Perform audit and cost recovery initiatives.
  • Experience managing CF28/29 operational issues, investigate root causes, and recommend solutions.
  • Support implementation of corrective actions and process improvements.
  • Lead operational review meetings with internal teams and external service providers.
  • Monitor service provider performance, operational compliance, and reporting accuracy.
  • Ensure associates are properly trained on operational procedures and compliance expectations.
  • Support internal and external audit requests and reporting requirements.
  • Partner cross-functionally with operations, logistics, finance, purchasing, and supply chain teams to resolve issues and improve processes.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Required Skills and Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Logistics, or related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in operations, compliance, audit, logistics, supply chain, or related environment.
  • Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience performing operational audits, data analysis, and process compliance reviews.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Experience supporting process implementation, training, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and follow-up skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
  • Related compliance, audit, or operations certification preferred.
