ResponsibilitiesRole(s) - Lead the implementation of quality systems, ensure product compliance with OEM requirements, and foster a culture of continuous improvement, with a focus on safety, durability, and fitment.
Supports the Quality Control Team through managing and leading subordinates, coordinating quality improvements, analyzing data and reporting.
- Ensure strict adherence to HKQS standards and specific Kia quality expectations throughout the assembly process.
- Serve as the key contact for Kia SQEs and customer quality teams, managing issues and reporting through KAS (Kia Assurance System).
- Oversee control plans, PFMEAs, and standard operating procedures.
- Monitor KPIs and drive improvements to meet or exceed Kia targets.
- Analyze, review, and generate Reports for the OEM related Quality claims.
- Generate Daily, Weekly and Monthly Reports to MOBIS Senior Management.
- Analyze defects trends and implement Process/Supplier improvement plans to eliminate repeat defects.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to identify and eliminate quality issues.
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective action processes using continuous improvement tools for Kia customer complaints and internal rejections.
- Understand the OEM assembly process related to MOBIS Georgia Module processes.
- Practice 5S in the assigned work area. Keep the workstations, tools, and gages clean and organized.
- Lead the Process Quality Team to achieve goals and objectives.
- Present Quality Improvement plans and countermeasures to MOBIS and the OEM senior management.
- Other tasks as assigned.
QualificationsMinimum Education and Experience Requirements:Experience: 5+ years of experience
Managerial Experience: 3-5 years
Education: Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS)
Degree Field: Engineering, or related field
Equivalent Experience/Education: 10+ years of experience in a manufacturing/automotive field and in a managerial role.
Communication Skills: Advanced
