Job Duties
  • Lead all aspects of the Quality Department, including strategy, execution, and alignment with business goals.
  • Serve as the primary contact for all major internal and external quality issues, including customer and supplier escalations.
  • Oversee and mentor a team of quality inspectors, CMM programmers, and quality technicians.
  • Drive continuous improvement (CI) initiatives throughout the organization; utilize Lean, Six Sigma, or other methodologies.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements, including documentation and audit readiness.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Engineering, and Customer Service to ensure quality objectives are met.
  • Develop and implement quality training programs; lead hiring and onboarding of quality personnel.
  • Monitor and report on key quality metrics to executive leadership.
  • Own and enhance quality systems and procedures, including corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience in a quality leadership role within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
  • Proven track record managing teams and building quality systems from the ground up.
  • Deep understanding of quality standards such as ISO 9001, AS9100, or IATF 16949 (as applicable).
