Quality Manager NATURE OF WORK: The Quality Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the site's integrated Quality Management System, Environmental controls, and Safety management systems. This role ensures the facility operates in strict accordance with corporate standards and international ISO certifications. The Quality Manager acts as a subject matter expert and advisor to General Management on system performance, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS: - System Management (QMS/EHS): Maintain and update processes to ensure the site operates within ISO 9001 (Quality), ISO 14001 (Environmental), and ISO 45001 (Health & Safety) standards.
- Compliance & Auditing: Manage all internal, external, and certification audits. Ensure full compliance with all relevant regulatory bodies and customer requirements.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive Lean Six Sigma, 5S, and safety culture initiatives to optimize site efficiency, reduce waste, and improve environmental and safety performance.
- Corrective & Preventative Action (CAPA): Lead the management of CAPA systems, identifying root causes for quality, environmental, or safety incidents and driving effective resolution.
- Operations Support: Provide technical support and hands-on guidance to production teams. Assist in problem-solving and process improvement to meet customer specifications and safety protocols.
- Leadership: Manage and develop a staff of quality and EHS personnel. Coordinate training on SOPs, quality standards, and safety best practices.
- Stakeholder Interface: Act as the primary point of contact for customers and suppliers regarding quality issues, surveys, and audits. Ensure effective communication regarding the organization's performance.
REQUIREMENTS: - Education: BS in an Engineering discipline or Business Management.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in a combined Quality and EHS function.
- Standards Expertise: Proven experience and deep knowledge ofISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001standards. (Experience with ISO 13485, ANSI, and IPC standards is an advantage).
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in internal and supplier auditing.
- Document control management and experience working in a controlled inspection environment.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using statistical tools and data analysis.
