Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of inspectors, CMM programmers, and quality engineers

  • Design and implement training programs on the Quality Management System for staff
  • Oversee internal audits and support external quality audits
  • Analyze customer returns and strategize on issue resolution, liaising with clients on quality matters

Full Job Description
Position type: Exempt The Quality Manager is responsible for product inspection, managing the Quality Management System, customer and internal audits, and continuous improvement through corrective actions and problem solving. The role is a mix of tactical and operational responsibilities that maintain the daily operation of the business and execute the vision of top management. The ideal candidate will have experience building the quality department and structure according company policies and guidelines. Responsibilities: Manage and develop a team of inspectors, CMM programmers, and quality engineers Act as management representative, maintain, and improve the Quality Management System in compliance with the AS9100 standard and ISO9001 standard Develop, coordinate, and maintain organizational awareness and training on the Quality Management System Direct internal audit processes, facilitate certification, customer, and other quality audits Evaluate customer returns, drive dispositions, and assure resolution, Interface with customers on quality issues and resolution Qualifications: Minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with experience in process optimization and new product introduction preferred. 3 or more years of experience working within AS or ISO quality management systems Commitment to quality and attention to detail in all aspects of work. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Experience in communicating with suppliers and customers for corrective actions and reviews.
