What You Will Do

The Quality Section Manager is responsible for leading the Quality organization supporting Fabrication, Assembly, Sub-Assembly, Metrology, and Calibration Laboratory operations. This role ensures compliance with Bosch Quality Standards, Customer requirements, and regulatory expectations while driving continuous improvement, failure prevention, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence.

The position is responsible for managing daily quality operations, leading quality improvement initiatives, resolving internal and customer quality issues, and developing a high-performing quality organization that supports sustainable business growth.

Job Description

Quality Leadership & Operations
  • Lead and manage Quality activities for Fabrication, Assembly, Sub-Assembly, Metrology, and Calibration Laboratory operations.
  • Ensure compliance with Bosch Quality Standards, Customer requirements, and regulatory expectations.
  • Manage daily quality operations and provide leadership support for production, engineering, and supply chain organizations.

Quality Improvement & Problem Solving
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality performance, defect reduction, scrap reduction, process capability, and customer satisfaction.
  • Lead structured problem-solving activities and ensure sustainable corrective and preventive actions for internal and customer quality issues.
  • Utilize quality tools such as FMEA, Control Plans, SPC, MSA, 8D, and Root Cause Analysis methodologies.

KPI Management & Governance
  • Establish, monitor, and drive quality KPIs to achieve business and customer objectives.
  • Analyze quality data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
  • Lead quality reviews and ensure timely escalation and resolution of critical quality issues.

Metrology & Calibration Management
  • Lead the Metrology and Calibration Laboratory to ensure measurement system reliability and calibration compliance.
  • Ensure timely calibration of measuring and test equipment and compliance with internal and external audit requirements.
  • Drive Measurement System Analysis (MSA) activities and continuous improvement of metrology processes.

Team Development & Collaboration
  • Develop, coach, and support Quality Engineers, Calibration Technicians, and Quality Auditors.
  • Partner closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, Continuous Improvement (CI), and Product Quality (PUQ) teams to achieve business objectives.
  • Promote a culture of quality, accountability, customer focus, and continuous improvement.


Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Management, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum 5+ years of leadership experience in Quality Management and/or other technical area within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001), quality tools, and problem-solving methodologies.
  • Experience in fabrication, sheet metal manufacturing, assembly operations, or related industrial manufacturing processes.
  • Strong knowledge of Metrology, Calibration Systems, Measurement System Analysis (MSA), and quality assurance principles.
  • Proven experience leading quality improvement projects and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical, communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working effectively within a matrix organization and influencing across functions.
  • Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred.
  • HVAC manufacturing experience preferred.
