Job Description:The Large Power Systems Division in Lafayette, IN has an opening for a Quality Manager. In this role as a Quality Manager, you will report to the Manager Quality and will be primarily responsible for overseeing the administration and continual improvement of quality management systems. As a member of the Quality team, you will need to have a growth mindset, promote continuous improvement, and help build a defect-free culture.
Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:- This is a Quality Manager position responsible for supervising/managing up to 20 production team members which includes Quality Technicians, Group team lead, Certification coordinators and Quality Advisor
- Recruiting, developing, and leading teams to accomplish personal and organizational goals, adhere to policies/procedures and promote a culture of continuous improvement
- Promote Culture of Quality, Lead Built in Quality
- Supporting development of quality assurance strategies, processes, guidelines and control plans which assure quality and reliability of manufactured products.
- Leading the development and implementation of corrective action and preventive measures to achieve quality targets.
- Investigating and addressing trends with internal and external non-conformance.
- Leading, managing and developing multiple teams, team leaders, quality specialists and
inspectors to assure that quality standards are met.
- Developing and reviewing reports to review with quality assurance, production, management, and engineering personnel to solve quality issues.
Top Candidates will also have:- A bachelor's degree in engineering or manufacturing or equivalent experience with an excellent understanding of quality management practices is desired.
- Prior Supervisory Experience, in addition, three to five years of job-related experience is desired
- Experience working within an extended value stream methodology with cross departmental collaboration amongst operations, quality, manufacturing engineering, design engineering, supply chain & maintenance
- Experience with 3500, 3600, and/or C175 Engines and component manufacturing, dyno test, or other assembly areas.
- Must demonstrate good interpersonal skills, be able to communicate with others, work as a part of a team and have the ability to work with a diverse group of employees and customers'

• Monitors client satisfaction levels on a regular basis.
• Alerts own team to problems in client satisfaction.

Summary Pay Range:$112,710.00 - $169,060.00
