Overview

Join our team as a Quality Manager in Albuquerque, NM.

Responsibilities

The Quality Manager leads and supports hospital-wide quality improvement and patient safety initiatives to improve clinical outcomes, operational performance, and regulatory compliance. This role analyzes quality data, identifies improvement opportunities, leads root cause analysis and performance improvement projects, and partners with clinical and operational teams to implement sustainable solutions. The Quality Manager also supports accreditation and regulatory readiness, including Joint Commission requirements, while promoting a culture of quality and patient safety.
  • Lead quality improvement, patient safety, and performance improvement initiatives across departments and clinical teams.
  • Analyze quality and patient safety data, identify trends and improvement opportunities, and develop metrics and reports to measure outcomes.
  • Facilitate root cause analyses, action plans, and unit-based or organization-wide improvement projects.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality policies, procedures, processes, and improvement strategies.
  • Support Joint Commission accreditation, regulatory compliance, survey readiness, and required quality documentation and reporting.
  • Partner with physicians, nursing, leadership, and interdisciplinary teams to advance quality and patient safety goals.
  • Provide education, coaching, and guidance to staff on quality standards, regulatory requirements, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Lead special projects, pilot programs, and other quality initiatives while promoting accountability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field of study
  • Eight (8) or more years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree
  • Four (4) years of related experience
  • Two (2) years of supervisory experience

Preferred Job Requirements:
  • Valid NM Nursing license or NM compact license (within 90 days of hire)
