- Position Summary: Quality Manager
- Location: Hamden, CT
Amphenol Spectra-Strip is a leader in hyper scale data center bulk wire solutions. We develop and manufacture gigabit copper cable solutions for high performance and cloud compute applications. We are currently seeking a Quality Manager to join our team in Hamden, CT.
Responsibilities:- Manage product and process quality to meet customer satisfaction metrics through formal continuous improvement programs.
- Overall responsibility for compliance functions, direct supervisor to Compliance Engineer
- Manage customer quality requirements through documentation review, process capability/control, and detailed inspection plans.
- Responsible for quality planning and supervision of quality personnel to site-specific quality metrics.
- Responsible for presentation of business unit level quality metrics to corporate management.
- Responsible for managing all quality related aspects of customer and supplier relationships, including management of both customer and supplier corrective action processes.
Qualifications:- BS in Engineering, or an equivalent mix of education and experience.
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing operations.
- Quality management experience with strong supervisory and leadership skills.
- Working knowledge and proven leadership in continuous improvement activities and formal programs.
