Job Overview

This position promotes customer satisfaction by establishing and maintaining an effective Quality Management System focused on value, process improvement, people, and evidence-based decision making. They design and manage key metrics that provide data for process measurement, identify root causes of problems, and lead quality improvement initiatives to improve performance and product quality. They develop and implement policies, procedures, and systems as required to assure product quality, reliability, safety, risk management, and ensure conformance to regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain quality system related procedures, according to Industry Regulations and Customer Requirements, for process control and improvement
  • Conduct internal audits of the quality system to ensure compliance to customer requirements and regulatory standards, and initiate related improvement events
  • Lead problem-solving activities to define problems, assess current state root causes, design and test solutions, and implement solutions leading to desired outcomes
  • Support our Customers by ensuring problem solving and corrective action activities are completed in a timely manner
  • Manage complaint process for customer and technician feedback to ensure thorough containment and corrective action is implemented
  • Establish and monitor key metrics related to quality system effectiveness; provide insight and recommendations for process improvements
  • Regularly collect, analyze, and report product quality data to enable strategic decision-making throughout the organization
  • Ensure conformance to established processes and procedures by directing the development and publication of standard work process documentation, process maps, and training materials
  • Manage incoming product quality, including inspections, FAI reporting, and RMA activities
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain to resolve supplier issues, by driving RCA and providing quantitative data to demonstrate effectiveness of corrective actions
  • Review engineering change orders to ensure product compliance is maintained and implementation plan promotes successful containment and corrective or preventative action
  • Oversee ECO implementation phase to ensure change is effective and completed


Skills/Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of practical electromechanical device quality experience supporting all elements of a Quality Management System, including development, maintenance and improvement
  • 3+ years of supervisory experience
  • Certification in Lean Manufacturing principles or Six Sigma, or equivalent training and career development
  • ASQ CQE Certification preferred
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Word)
  • Proven ability to lead and collaborate with a diverse team to achieve desired results
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Problem Solving, Data Analysis, and Process Improvement
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Ability to think critically and make decisions independently
