Quality Manager
Location: Lincoln, Arkansas
Job Type: Full-Time Mon-Fri 7am-3:30pm
Pay: $65k-$100k/ year

About the Role
We are partnered with an electronic manufacturing company that is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead our Quality Management System and drive continuous improvement throughout our manufacturing operations. This is a hands-on leadership position in a high-mix electronics manufacturing environment, responsible for maintaining our ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System while leading our organization's preparation for AS9100 certification.
The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with a strong background in manufacturing quality systems, audit management, corrective actions, and process improvement. This position works closely with production, engineering, purchasing, program management, suppliers, customers, and executive leadership to ensure customer expectations and quality standards are consistently achieved.
Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and continually improve the company's ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System.
  • Lead the development and implementation of systems required to achieve AS9100 certification.
  • Plan and coordinate internal audits, management reviews, customer audits, and third-party certification audits.
  • Manage corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), customer complaints, nonconforming material, and root cause investigations.
  • Develop, monitor, and report quality metrics, including defects, scrap, rework, customer complaints, and corrective action performance.
  • Oversee incoming, in-process, and final inspection activities.
  • Ensure proper calibration and control of inspection, measurement, and test equipment.
  • Support supplier qualification, supplier corrective actions, contract review, and new product introduction.
  • Partner with production and engineering teams to improve process capability, reduce defects, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop quality personnel while fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and operational excellence.
Required Qualifications
  • Five (5) or more years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience maintaining an ISO 9001:2015 certified Quality Management System.
  • Working knowledge of AS9100, including implementation, auditing, or certification preparation.
  • Experience leading internal and external audits, corrective actions, and root cause investigations.
  • Strong understanding of quality systems, inspection methods, and continuous improvement practices.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in electronics manufacturing, printed circuit board assembly (PCBA), wire harness manufacturing, or electromechanical assembly.
  • Familiarity with IPC-A-610, IPC/WHMA-A-620, J-STD-001, and/or AS9102.
  • Experience with Statistical Process Control (SPC), Cp/Cpk analysis, Gauge R&R, and Measurement System Analysis (MSA).
  • Experience supporting aerospace, defense, ITAR-controlled, or other regulated manufacturing environments.
