Full Job Description
Wood Pipeline Inspection Team has an opportunity for a Chief Inspector (Sr. Quality Inspector). In this role you will be assigned to major project reporting to the Construction Manager & Project Manager/Director leading a team. Direct the efforts of the inspection team to assure the construction activities are in accordance with all project drawings, specifications and procedures. Responsibilities • Assure all activities are conducted to maintain the safety of all personnel. • Ensure that all government regulatory and environmental permitting is in place before construction commences. • Assure that all of constructor's equipment and staff are qualified to meet safety requirements of the project. • Coordinate communication between the project management team, client staff and constructor staff to assure an effective project execution. • Monitor and direct all inspection activities; report any discrepancies in meeting the requirements of the project specifications and procedures. • Direct and coordinate survey crews to meet the needs of the construction activities. • Review and record inspection reports; direct all corrective action required. • Monitor all weld testing and x-ray reporting to assure 100% coverage of weld quality.
