The OpportunityAs Quality Excellence Lead in our Quality Excellence Infrastructure team, you will:
Shape the global ecosystem: Drive, maintain, and continuously elevate our Quality Infrastructure strategies to deliver organizational efficiencies, scalability, and measurable productivity gains.
Unlock data-driven decision-making: Manage critical Quality data to maintain full regulatory compliance while transforming raw metrics into strategic business insights.
Pioneer innovative quality technologies:Champion the implementation, scaling, and ongoing enhancement of cutting-edge Quality tools, AI capabilities, and digital methodologies.
Lead strategic, system-wide changes: Apply systems-thinking and collaborative governance to align cross-functional initiatives and accelerate quality outcomes globally.
Oversee compliance & governance: Drive end-to-end Quality System oversight, active monitoring, and governance frameworks across the organization.
Cultivate a high-impact knowledge network:Implement and champion knowledge management practices across Pharma Development Quality to foster seamless learning and organizational growth.

Who You AreEducation and Experience:Masters, Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in scientific or quality-related field or equivalent combination of education, training and experience. 5 years in the pharmaceutical industry and/or Quality Systems experience preferred.
Proven Quality Systems expertise: Background in quality systems management, ownership, and strategy within regulated health/pharma environments (e.g., Good Clinical Practice [GCP], Good Pharmacovigilance Practices [GVP], Medical Device Regulation [MDR], Software as a Medical Device [SaMD], or Risk-Based Quality Management [RBQM]).
Digital & AI literacy:Hands-on experience utilizing artificial intelligence (AI), AI agents, and advanced data analytics tools to optimize quality processes and drive business solutions.
Information & Knowledge Management background: Demonstrated experience in information governance, knowledge management, and maintaining standardized procedures.
Strategic & critical thinker:Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive, risk-based mindset and a track record of data-driven decision-making.
Collaborator & change-agent: Exceptional communication skills with a proven ability to build strong partner relationships, align cross-functional stakeholders, and champion change.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of South San Francisco, CA is $111,000 to $206,100. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
