Quality Engineering Lead (AML)

Position Description:

This role requires you to work from our downtown Toronto office (250 Yonge Street) and/or the client office a minimum of 2 days per week, subject to change based on business and client requirements.

Position Overview

We are seeking a QE Automation Analyst with experience in AML (Anti-Money Laundering) applications to support enterprise testing initiatives. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with LCTR, Selenium, SQL, GitHub Copilot, and Agile delivery, along with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Your future duties and responsibilities:
• Design, develop, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases for AML applications.
• Develop and enhance automation frameworks using Selenium.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing.
• Validate AML workflows, including Large Cash Transaction Reporting (LCTR) processes.
• Execute backend data validation using SQL.
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and product owners to understand requirements and develop test scenarios.
• Track defects using Jira and maintain project documentation in Confluence.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Leverage GitHub Copilot to improve test automation productivity and code quality.
• Report testing pogress, risks, and quality metrics to stakeholders.
• Support continuous improvement of automation frameworks and QA processes.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• Experience testing AML (Anti-Money Laundering) applications.
• Hands-on experience with LCTR (Large Cash Transaction Reporting).
• Strong automation experience using Selenium.
• Experience using GitHub Copilot.
• Strong SQL skills for backend data validation.
• Experience with Jira and Confluence.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work closely with business and technical stakeholders.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
• Experience creating or enhancing LCTR automation frameworks.
• Experience migrating test automation from Selenium to Playwright.
• Banking or Financial Services domain experience.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and test automation best practices.
