Senior Quality Engineering Governance AnalystLocation: Remote (candidates located in the NC or SC areas highly preferred)
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
The Quality Engineering Governance Analyst Sr is responsible for driving enterprise quality engineering governance across technology initiatives. This role provides independent, objective oversight of testing readiness, requirements traceability, defect management, release readiness, and post-implementation validation practices.

- Identify quality and delivery risks
- Partner with project and delivery teams to drive remediation
- Present governance findings, document risks and decisions, track corrective actions, and provide actionable recommendations that strengthen delivery quality, audit readiness, and operational stability
What We're Looking For- ISTQB, highly preferred.
- ITIL Foundation, highly preferred.
- Candidates located in the NC or SC areas, highly preferred.
- Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, required. Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Engineering, or related field. Eight (8) years equivalent experience may be considered.
- Experience: 5 years Experience in quality assurance, quality engineering, testing governance, release governance, PMO governance, IT audit, risk management, or related IT delivery discipline, required. Experience conducting project reviews, stage gate assessments, standards compliance reviews, quality risk assessments, and executive-level reporting in a healthcare or highly regulated environment, preferred.
- Licensure/Certification: ITIL Foundation, ISTQB, CSM, SAFe, PMP, PMI-PBA, Lean Six Sigma, or equivalent quality/governance certification: Required within twelve (12) months of hire, required. Security, privacy, compliance, or audit certification, preferred. Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, Jira, or equivalent tool training, preferred.
- Additional Skills (required): Strong knowledge of SDLC, Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid delivery, testing lifecycle, release readiness, and production validation practices. Ability to review project artifacts including test strategies, test plans, requirement traceability matrices, defect reports, release readiness materials, cutover plans, and post-implementation validation evidence. Demonstrated ability to identify quality risks, assess severity and business impact, document findings, and influence remediation without direct authority. Strong analytical, facilitation, written communication, and executive reporting skills.
- Additional Skills (preferred): Healthcare IT experience with enterprise clinical, ERP, integration, infrastructure, cybersecurity, information security, or business application implementations. Experience with Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, Jira, Microsoft Power BI, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Excel, or equivalent governance reporting tools. Knowledge of ITIL change management, audit readiness, regulatory compliance, security/privacy testing, performance testing, and operational readiness practices.
